OSM and OMC maps

I've been using "OpenStreetMaps" for my Montana 610 for several years (extract.bbbike.org). Lately the downloaded maps are showing paved trails (rail trails) with a thin black line in BaseCamp and a barely visible thin white line on the Montana.

The downloaded format is for Garmin Latin 1 OSM. I have tested the other Garmin formats available from BBBike and generally favor how maps are displayed with the OSM format, prior to recent changes.

Open Map Chest (www.openmapchest.org) appears to use the same OSM map and produces the same results lately with paved trails.

The BBBike website appears to have no forum in which to ask the question as to why this change was made.

Perhaps someone in this forum knows how to fix it. Is there some file within the downloaded .img that can be edited?

In the FAQ there is a reverence to a forum discussion for a different problem than yours. It is at: https://www.navitotal.com/kenwood/garmin-maps-kenwood-dnx521...

That led to https://www.navitotal.com/news/forum/ and I didn't look further.

There are a number of different Garmin Latin 1 choices. I haven't used OSM much lately. I typically use Garmin Cycle (Latin 1).

Have you tried any of the other ones after the change that you noticed?

Garmin OSM (Latin 1)

Garmin Cycle (Latin 1)

Garmin Leisure (Latin 1)

Garmin Onroad (Latin 1)

Garmin Ontrail (Latin 1)

Garmin BBBike (Latin 1)

Garmin Openfietsmap Full (Latin 1)

Garmin OpenSeaMap (Latin 1)

Garmin OpenTopoMap (Latin 1)

I recall that Garmin Openfietsmap Full took up the most memory. It might be worth looking at.
