But the weather has been crazy, cold one day and warm the next. Also a lot of rain.

not that the thaw "rocks dude" woo
the thaw, throws so many damn rocks, shattered the brake line on my car
not the most pleasant way to NOT come to a stop in the middle of rush hour traffic -no brakes
Fortunately here in small town Nova Scotia rush hour is kinda only 2 cars, and I missed both of them

To get a rental car to small town Nova Scotia -not quite the middle of nowhere but you can throw rocks at it from here- takes 48 hours
so I'm driving a uhaul, the ford transit is not particularly pleasant, such a large space to heat -the ice may be melting in the day, but it is -4 in the morning
for some stupid reason a van without a 3-seat, just 2 buckets. when the school bus isn't running (bout one day in three -reliability does not seem to be a big thing) it takes 2 trips to get both grandkids to school, the same school

property taxes last Friday, and money gone on Monday.

That's really efficient. Used to be look at account and 1 1/2 weeks later money still there.

23% county increase and again I say why not make it 40% and build a new quintuple ice rink in my town.

Imagine being in politics and actually believing it's the right time for a 23% increase.

Still darn cold

So, it rained Friday night and the next morning my Silverado looked like it had measles because the pollen was so thick in the air and the pollen stuck to the drops. I think that I have never seen it this bad. This morning it was so thick on the truck that it looked like frost - but it was yellow.
