Garmin RV Series

My wife and I are buying an RV. I am starting to give some thought to navigation when we travel with that. I know that th ere is a Garmin RV series. One of the features that most interests me is the ability to customize a route based on the vehicle dimensions. For anybody here that uses a Garmin RV, how well does it work out for you?
I am also interested in alternatives, too. What smartphone or tablet Android or iOS should I consider? The clearance issue concerns me a bit. Also, when we are towing a trailer, finding fuel stations that are spacious would be a nice option.
I am also interested in any other maps, like Open Street Maps, that would allow custom routing based on the vehicle dimensions.

I use the RV 770 where you can enter the size of your vehicles. It does ok, but I always check the route before leaving. Have had a few times it routed down a small dirt road where there was a better route. Have to watch the quickest time vs shortest route setting. It will change how your trip will be routed.

The Garmin RV 1095 states:
Travel confidently along a custom route1 that’s based on the size and weight of your rig.
Does anybody happen to know if that is a separate file for the size and weight limitations? Or could it already be embedded in City Navigator?

I have the RV 770 and TV 780, and have not found a separate file with the weight and height data. You do have to specify what the height and weight of your vehicle is in the setup screen. I have had it warn of low tunnel, but not any weight warnings. Assume it is part of the City Navigator map data.

I would love to be able to have my Garmin DriveSmart 65 with Amazon Alexa display that information, but I don't think it is possible.
