paid

the school taxes yesterday (due by 8/31 for 2% discount) and now we have to go to the administration building. No more pay at Wells Fargo or TD. Good thing as I estimate the town was paying $70 to $150 per address, and now they can retain the funds. It always seems to be elderly in line when paying taxes in person. My uncle told me even if you have a mortgage, never pay taxes and insurance to escrow, so I never did for many years. I joked to the people there, so this is where it all happens. I didn't have to explain but I am genuinely appreciative that my healthcare has a $0 deductible and is provided by the school district, since my wife works there. It saves me $800/mo over my employer. If I needed a hip replacement it would be $40. Brain replacement which I probably need if I ever wanted to be sane, $40.

84F and sunny garden in full swing fruit trees full and there all getting ripe except for the fig tree i had a bunch of them come ripe and had to dehydrate for use in my breakfast kiwi plant out of control in with the razz berries, acorn squash and zucchini cucumber's all getting ripe great year for the garden.
