Old Threshers Reunion
Enjoy the rest of the week, Heading to the Old Thrashers Reunion in Mt. Pleasant, IA on Fri. Need to get my new map loaded.
The Old Threshers Reunion is a wonderful event and worth the trip to Iowa if you enjoy farming history. A long time friend and teacher co-worker of mine served on the board of directors for many years. He and his wife own several of the steam engines and still volunteer for the event every year. @alleghany ... enjoy, and give us a report after your visit. (But OH BOY, unless the weather changes, it is miserably HOT and humid in Iowa right now! I definitely wouldn't want to be one of the volunteers herding one of those hot old steam engine boilers through the parade!)
