traveled to a third world country for two weeks.
What amazed me the most, is how everything in USD, cost the same or more, than here in Phila.
Why the math is funny, is that people don't earn our salaries that we get here, when converted. yet a new condo is $400k USD.
All I can surmise is that there are super rich, and poverty, all living shoulder to shoulder. Yet there's no crime?
It's fascinating to get "away" temporarily and see how the rest of the world lives.
It lends new meaning to that cliche, "First world problem." They really are.

Trip to Caribbean
It was good to get away but it was hot. 85 degrees and 80% humidity in Roatan. Another 10 degrees in temperature and 15% in humidity and it would have felt like RVN.

Wind took it down. I went out and checked it today and it messed up the bearing in the blades. Ordered new bearing but can't find a new shaft so will have to make one.
