Perhaps you can post on a new book you're reading, a new hobby you're taking up or about random finds as you finally get around to cleaning out the..., or your most recent adventure?

Anything to keep your windmill alive.

Please keep comments polite.

We went to

Atlantic City. Sorry, but I think that place has seen better days.

We stayed at the hotel that starts with a B, ends in a Y's.

The room was disgusting, mold on the bathroom counter, electrical outlets missing, and who knows what else goes on at $300+/night.

My wife's cousin's family got bitten by bed bugs. It's not funny when 7 and 8 year olds have bites all over their bodies. What a terrible experience and likely not going there ever again. There's no reason to, but this time it was a surprise b-day party.

Forgot what it's like to drive over a thousand miles. It's been years since I did that but it was a nice change from flying everywhere.

I still can't make myself accept that the doctors think nothing else can be done to help. I know it's true but I keep looking for a light at the end of the tunnel to help him. As I typed this I know that that light will be here for him.
I have been with him since I was 13. We dated for 5 years (that's when people dated and went home at the end of the night). I have been married to him for 59 1/2 years. That is most of my life. I know nothing else. I can't imagine ....

People cut the full service line, usually to no consequences. Last Thu because they were so short staffed, they blocked off 2 lanes.

There are 18 pumps, 6 times 3.

As soon as they removed the cones, cars in the back of the line raced and got to the pumps, and were served, leaving people waiting to wait some more. That was a poor move, but, if left to the attendants, I get it. it's like lifeguards. they're in authority but not really compensated to deal with poor behavior (if a guard tells a parent your child should have a green band to swim where it's 9.5', and the parent does a pfffffft or ignores or argues, the lifeguard can't do much of anything).

But yes, I get costco because it's a good 10-30 cents less, even more on premium. $3.899 premium on thursday, when in PA, regular is $4

Also yes, they are Top Tier to boot.

It's good to see prices retreating--the week before premium hit $4.079 at Costco. Again, $3.899 on Thursday.

Lots of Rain

There was lots of rain yesterday. This coming week it returns to hot weather (70S). I wish the cool weather would stay.

We do Sams not Costco

We have a Sam's card but never got the gas because we just assumed it was low tier. Is Sam's like Costco and Top Tier or low tier?

Lucked out

And found this thread before it disappears for this month.
October. Sigh. Mulching blades to go on for all the falling leaves. Snowblower to come out for preseason maintenance. Winter tires to be checked over and aired up in preparation for seasonal swap. But the weather right now is pleasant and a perfect time to tinker at these projects. All the best to one and all.

Happy October

Ditto
