Cut the front lawn before the weekend but with the rain I have to wait to cut the back lawn..

Another week, another week in Paradise.

a quick spin of the windmill Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend.

Congrats to all you hard working union workers/laborers. You make the USA work on a continuing basis. I was a member of the Teamsters union unloading trucks for UPS starting at 4 AM to put myself through college. As I left home at 17 years old, the wage allowed me to go to school and afford a very very modest apartment. Later on I Was a member of ALPA for over 30 years.
We all have to remember how Labor Day evolved into a national holiday.

I need to go there and get some. But not today, because they are closed today. Reminds me of taking a trip out west several years ago and I went out of my way to go to the Costco in Sioux Falls, SD to fill up the tank. Got there and couldn’t quite figure out why the parking lot was empty. Then it hit me! It was Labor Day and they were closed. Duh!!!

Finally a little cool weather.

Here in the NE, it started to cool, now back to the 90s. Next week cools again until I drive to the SE and start all over again!

Our grandson is at UPS. He started with unloading trucks and now is a supervisor at the 4 AM shift. He is only 20. We are proud of him.

Went to Ontario Provincials for 9U rep baseball and the boys came up short. 2nd in Ontario - amazing push from all the kids. Very proud.

Need to finish the lawn by edging today!

Road Trip to the Beach & Dinner with My Brother. Total about 5 hours, on roads that I hadn't driven in years. Kitchener, Ontario-Port Elgin-Goderich & back to Kitchener.

Used Trip Planner app in my DriveSmart 65 and learned best way to use Shaping Feature. That was a huge benefit. Gonna use Shaping more often now.
