Thanks, but still an issue

Thanks for the notification of this. I've successfuully installed it but am still getting the message "There was a problem connecting to the Garmin servers." when I try and login to my account within GE.

I then uninstalled GE and removed the associated registry entries using the Revo Uninstaller app before re-installing GE - but still the problem persists.

I repeated the above with the Firewall and AV software temporarily disabled but the error is still shown when I try and login within GE.

Any suggestions on what to try next please?

(my system is running Win10 Pro 22H2)

Anyone installed to a Win 11 machine?

No rush to update

I’m in no rush to install the newest version of GE anymore. So many issues lately that I’m happy with running one update behind. At least I know it still works.

A word of caution though, the only time I had a map update issue was because I'd failed to update Express

I see no reason to keep up. When there is a new map I am sure I will be prompted to upgrade to the latest version before getting the map.. and will, then.

I get the prompt each time when there’s a new update available. Sometimes I don’t bother with it and it still works fine.
