Garmin Communicator Plug-in for Mac

It doesn't seem to work for me, maybe others will have better luck.

Oh well, I was going to put this under a new thread. :-)

Re: Garmin Communicator Plug-in for Mac

Hi Ein,

I downloaded and installed the plugin and went to the "test page" and read the following:

Garmin Communicator Plugin Test Page

The Mac betas worked for me.

The Mac betas worked for me. Not full functionality but it will load maps on to my GPSMAP76C.

The Mapconverter program copies the maps off the PC and compresses them. When uncompressed on the Mac the folder shows as a 'package' so it's pretty tidy. Unfortunately, no waypoint, track or route backup or creating. So it's too soon to ditch the PC. Good first step.

Do I need this?

Do I need this software to install new maps on my 350 running on a Mac? I assumed the install software was on the map disk ya receive.
