Icon Size for DS65

What is the maximum Icon size that I can use with the DriveSmart 65?
I have a number of Icons, but all were for the NUVI 2555.

Cannot answer specifically, but
I did at one time have a 2555, and I used icons of 24x24.
I have now a 68 (a few years old, but a 6inch screen, same as your I'm guessing) and I use 48x48 for most. This is still not quite as big as the pain-in-the-butt built-in Garmin ones.
I don't think you would want anything bigger. For POIs that I don't really need to see in "What's Ahead", I sometimes revert to 24x24 for those.
There is nothing mentioned in m y 68 manual (PDF), and on the Garmin site, under "Creating Icons for Custom POIs" it still says 24x24, which I guarantee is not true.
Garmin site also says they have to be 8-bit or 16-bit, but I have lots that are 24-bit and they display fine. Just depends on where I sourced them, or what program I used to edit and resize.
Small would be nice
This is still not quite as big as the pain-in-the-butt built-in Garmin ones.
It has always annoyed me that Garmin couldn't/hasn't included some "small" icons. Would adding a couple of small colored dots/circles/squares/triangles be so hard. Sheesh
