Microsoft releases its Windows 10 November 2021 update

The big news is that the Windows 10 release cadence is joining Windows 11 and returning to just one feature update a year from now on.

It took Microsoft months to offer the 21H1 update to my two oldest computers. I just installed it on Nov. 6 (see http://www.poi-factory.com/node/51441?page=0#comment-532045). So it will probably be a long wait (if ever) until they make 21H2 available to these computers.

thanks

I will make sure I update. Hopefully, they will continue to support Windows 10

More feature updates??

I'm puzzled about the article suggesting that there will be *Feature* updates to Win10 after this fall's 21H2 (which by the way has been characterized as a yawner, not worth worrying much about one way or the other, for the great majority of Win 10 users).

Yes they were going to continue the monthly Quality updates to Win 10 until End of Service, but I thought 21H2 was supposed to be the last Feature update. New features were supposedly and logically being reserved for Win 11.

No rush for either Win 10 21H2 or Win 11 for me. Win 10 21H1 is working fine.

Windows 7

Heck I'm still on Windows 7 on my main computer. I like the way it works and don't relish trying to update all the programs and printer that also work fine.
I know.. I'm exposed to virus/hacking but...

i have no computers that will pass the test for windows 11 so guess i will be like the people who are still running windows 7, not buying a new computer to make mickysoft more money, worse comes to worse will dump windows and go with linex, need to keep my mind active anyway

no more money for microsoft

if it ain't broke don't fix it, but they are willing to get rid of over half thier current customers to look like slackintosh. more power to them.
