Took a day trip from Myrtle Beach down to Mt Pleasant and back. It was our monthly trip to Trader Joes and a favorite restaurant. A very easy trip this time as both the weather and the traffic cooperated. Good to be getting back out, around, and MASKLESS!

updated for trip north. Heading to Washington state to meet up with friends. We're then taking an 8 day motorcycle ride through some of the more remote parts of WA, ID, and MT.

Just hope to get out of Southwest heat wave without beating up truck, camper, and trailer. Slow and steady! Feel bad leaving house sitter here to bake in this heat

Walla Walla with camper and trailer. What a relief to get out of the SW heat. No matter how you cut it, 117 degrees is hot! The next 10 days is a motorcycle ride through some remote sections of WA, ID and MT.

I don't hold any hope of getting the cell phone talkers off the road. Just look at how long they have been trying to get the DWI and DUI drivers off the road. Still see wrecks that were caused by DWI and DUI.

Went around the space center for a short ride.

Walla Walla with truck camper and trailer. Halfway through motorcycle trip and one of us had minor medical issue. When you're on two-wheels even minor is enough reason to cut trip short and head back to WW.

Saw some beautiful country and met some nice people.

Washington, DC to Norfolk, VA.

We also just got back from Colorado. Great trip but cold. Mostly camping but spent a few days in hotels here and there. Spent two days in Fort Collins as there are a truckload of breweries there. Had the absolute best Brown Ale I have ever had. The old nüvi 760 drove us everywhere.

Well.... Made it up to NY and ran right into the heat wave. I hope it cools down soon.

After closing in March 2020, today is the granding re-opening of the local Senior Center. Many of the staff were furloughed so we expect new faces.
