Fixin' to take a road trip to Soldierstone. Google it!

My daughter likes to decorate for the season and her birthday is on the 4th of July.
She has 3 birds for each season representing her 3 daughters. She has been unable to find birds for the Memorial Day and 4th of July so she asked me to make them. It nearly ate my lunch to figure out the pattern and make the 1st one. The 2nd one went a lot faster and I am almost finished with the third one.
I tried to change my avatar to show them but not sure if it worked.

Edit: I've changed my photo back to one of me and my husband again. It hasn't changed but hopefully it will. I get a little impatient and think I am doing something wrong and redo it several times.

Nice weather, it's time to go for a drive. I Will head down island for a drive today after my appointments.

Went to one of our offices for the first in more than 14 months! Strange.

Cottage weekend

Home from camping. Left on May 5th and got home on June 4th. A week or so shorter than planned but tired of cold, rain, and wind. Got home to fine one of our sons had used the house while we were gone. The lights I had set to turn on and off by themselves were no longer working that way as he had turned them off and tried to turn them on again and... Also, he had tried to change the AC. It was set to "hold" so the house wouldn't get above 86°. He had managed to turn the system off so it was 96° in the house when we got home. D'Oh!

The lawns obviously need more frequent watering (temps have been around 105°) while we were gone) so I went to set them to water more frequently only to discover the controller for the back yard doesn't seem to work now. No idea why. When I use it manually it "says" it's watering but nothing happens. Sigh... No wonder we have a large dead bush in the back.

All in all even with the weird weather it was a good trip but we are glad to be home again. Throughout the trip the trusty old nüvi worked flawlessly. Not only gave us directions but played audio books for us through the truck speakers. Love that dorky little unit.

Go looking for some grocery items that Walmart doesn't carry. and Tuesday afternoon headed with a trailer load of stuff for the Deseret Industries that has been stored in the garage since first of last year.
Didn;t know I had so much extra room in the garage until now.

Rainy and not feeling well.

Baltimore to Philly and back.

Drove to the grocery store. Went inside this time instead of having goods loaded into the trunk. Not sure which I like best now.

A little rest and relaxation at the lake.

Amish and Mennonite country. Had a great time. Good food and scenery.

Last trip was to Blue Mountain.
