Apple has released iOS 14.2.2 iPhone

Apple has released iOS 14.2.2 for download for iPhone users, along with iOS 12.5.2 for older devices. Also available is iPad OS 14.2.2. Users can update by going to Settings > General > Software Update. The update is propagating and is now showing up in Canada, showing up as a 204MB download for the iPhone 12 Pro Max. This release says it contains "important security updates and is recommended for all users."...

For iPad 14.4.2

At least for my iPad, the download is labeled 14.4.2 not 14.2.2.

Why does Apple even bother... The updates always break something that requires another update, which then breaks something else... sad
