Garmin Express 7.2.1.0!!

Download complete. Thank you

here's hoping

this version will last longer than the last one. I think I'll wait a bit. However nice to see they got the last one corrected so fast!

Thanks

GE is relatively benign

GE is relatively benign. I have not seen much "damage" where blame has been placed on Garmin Express. There are issues when you upgrade your maps in that Garmin Express leaves behind tons of hidden and unneeded folders on your PC. And we aren't talking small stuff, a few weeks back people deleted 120 GB of unneeded material. Yep, that is "GB".

Two benefits

Two good things accompany new releases of Garmin Express. The first is that I get fresh, and hopefully improved, code. The second is that I can satisfy this week's requirement to post something here at the factory.

Garmin DS55 with Traffic

Updated Too!

Thanks!

Anybody seen the changelog?

If somebody have been able to read the changelog, that could maybe explain what happened with the 7.2.0.0 version. But maybe it was too embarrassing to show.

Nope

No 7.2.x version has release notes yet.

GE Will Not Run

Yesterday I started GE and it told me I needed to upgrade. OK, cool. I downloaded the upgrade.

The upgrade (GarminExpress.exe) will not run. As soon as I launch it, I get the "Garmin Express has stopped working" error message. The only option is to close the program.

To make matters worse, the OLD program now does the exact same thing!

I have a trouble ticket generated at Garmin, but figured I would post this here to see if any of you have run into this.

Remove Garmin Express from your computer and re-install from https://www.garmin.com/en-US/software/express/windows/

It's got to be Windows

It's got to be Windows specific, Mac is still on 7.2.0.0.
