I'm trying to import and make Custom POI ICONS. The ICON only. having NO JOY!! Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. Icons like "shell gas stations, marriott, esso. etc.....

I'm trying to import and make Custom POI ICONS. The ICON only. having NO JOY!! Any help in this would be greatly appreciated. Icons like "shell gas stations, marriott, esso. etc.....
Use a online converter like https://image.online-convert.com/convert-to-bmp?external_url... . Find a JPG picture on line that fits your needs and save it. Then run it through the converter. I have found for older models 24x 24 and newer models 48x48 works well. Under Optional Settings on Change Size put in the size you want the final bmp to be.
Most of the poi files listed on here have icons included.
