Basecamp version question

Quite a while back I was pulling my hair out trying to install some maps to a Garmin Astro 220 with Basecamp 4.7.2 only to eventually learn that there was a bug in that version and it would not work. I rolled it back to version 4.7.1 so I have that functionality. Did they ever fix that problem in 4.7.2, or do I still have to stay with 4.7.1?

I'm not very technically literate.
I don't know which bug. It just would not install maps on my Astro 220.

In which case I have no idea as I'm still on 4.6.2 as latest versions don't work with Google Earth.
