Just saying hello

Hello, I'm new here and just wanted to say hello. I suspect that I will be rather active around these parts. I purchased a Garmin Nuvi 350 last month. It arrived just before I drove my trusty 1989 Volvo 244 from my home in Los Angeles to Las Vegas for six weeks of work. It proved handy for getting around Vegas and helped me to find everything I needed while I was there.

Now that the job is over and I am back home in L.A., I have turned to seeing what else I can do with my Nuvi. I have spent the last few days loading it up with POI files, and today I found my first geocache. Very fun.

I am a sound engineer for television productions, and I often travel with work. My Nuvi is the perfect new tool/toy to help me get around the planet. I look forward to experimenting more and making my own POIs and Tour Guides.

Thanks for having me aboard!

Ryan

Hello and Welcome

Hello.

I just came back from Vegas for 1 week vacation and I found my Nuvi 350 very indispensable. I still have the v8 maps though, so hopefully the 2008 update will improve upon the mapping software and POI's.

Enjoy!

Welcome to the site, watch

Welcome to the site, watch out for my talons. They are pointed right at your brain at the moment;)

Everyone is so friendly

I'm just a new user of GPS system. I have a Garmin 350 (not the best, but it'll do). I am happy to have found this website. It has been great so far.

Another newbie

I registered with this site last week, and just received my Nuvi 350 today. Checking out the site while it's charging.
