Why does Garmin continue to use Foursquare?

For those of you familiar, Foursquare is similar to Yelp and Google in terms of POIs, but it's ridiculously inferior in every way. Much of the POIs are three or more years old, often extinct. Surely Garmin can use Nokia (HERE) Maps POIs instead or another source?

I never get lost, but I do explore new territory every now and then.

Why...

... did Garmin ever include Foursquare?

When you are dead, you don’t know that you are dead. It is only difficult for the others. It is the same when you are stupid.

Huh. I gotta try that. Thanks.

Never paid attention to it, so might as well reduce the clutter.

as far as being outdated

the pay subscription for red light and speed cams, NJ got rid of them in 2014. As of 2019 all the cams in NJ were still in the pay subscription.

I guess that's another one of those if you don't like it then don't buy it. I didn't get it again.

Foursquare not available for

Foursquare not available for 660... But is for 2689LMT...
It has gotten much better recently....

A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!
