Snow and wind, then freezing rain/sleet, then bitter cold with strong winds. It is definitely a good day to stay at home. I am hoping it stays as snow, but just in case, I hope the snow cover sticks to the drive and sidewalks so the freezing rain will be on top of it instead of a glaze on the cement. I do have some -15 degree ice melt ready to go just in case. My drive has a steep incline, so when it gets slippery I can't get the car into the garage.

Snow is coming down pretty heavy right now (Friday 2 PM). With the wind, visibility is down to about 0.1 miles. I am glad I am in my warm house and not out on the roads.
