New firmware out for nuvi 3590 - v8.5

The update was just offered three days ago and should be available to users of nuvi 34xx and 35xx through Garmin Express. No other nuvi models have this update although some Drive models had updates available through Garmin Express in late 2019:

nuvi 35xx (GCD File) software version 8.50
as of January 7, 2020
Changes made from version 8.30 to 8.50:
Improved software stability.

nuvi 34xx (GCD File) software version 8.50

Although the above suggests the update should be available to the nuvi 3597, it appears not to be the case. My 3597 states it's up-to-date with software version 5.50. Maybe it's not for the nuvi 35x7 but is meant only for the nuvi 35x0 model and 34x0.

Can't wait to get this installed. Such an annoying bug.

Thanks for the alert....installation went smoothly and do not see any problems. Remember to do a backup first...............just in case.
