Eco-route HD w/newer vehicle

Anyone using and ECO-Route on a newer vehicle with Auto STOP/START?
It sees the engine shut off and wants to turn off the Garmin. Any way to turn off this function in the Garmin?

What you are experiencing is

that your Garmin is plugged into a 12 volt outlet and the car probably turns that off as well as the engine. Your Garmin will turn off if the 12 volt supply is turned off!
Just my guess.

I was using the attachment,

I was using the attachment, also. No, the GPS gets it's power off signal from the Bluetooth Dongle that is connected to the OPD II connector.

I have no idea. I was using it with the Nuvi 3597 and conventional motors. I don't thing there is a setting for that. Not that I know of. Does it not power back.up when the engine restarts?

Yes, the Garmin is getting

Yes, the Garmin is getting the turn-off signal from the engine via the Eco-HD. The car maintains 12 volt during the Stop/Start episode to run radio, fan, lights etc.

On my Jeep, when I switch

On my Jeep, when I switch off the switch, power to all functions, except the ignition, continues and the GPS reports loss of power and begins the shutdown procedure. However, if I turn the ignition back on and start the engine, the GPS cancels the shutdown and continues operating.

Apparently Garmin hasn't programmed the Dongle for that, your situation. It won't be fixed. The Dongle is no longer supported, and with the advent of the Drive models, support on the GPS has been discontinued.

The only ting I can offer is you will have to hit cancel on the screen. Yeah, that's a real PIA in city driving/traffic. Sorry.
