Merry Christmas Everyone

rough

year. kinda not good. Should we remain optimistic? Of course. But after a string of great years, consecutively, this was a relatively terrible year. 2019 seems shaky....

Yup ...

The last few weeks we have taken it in the shorts. Going forward, hope for the best, be prepared otherwise. If I was smarter than I am, 6 months ago I would have cashed in my retirement portfolio that looked pretty good at the time for the ridiculously low fixed return options that were paying a paltry 2 to 3%. Those low guaranteed rates look pretty good right now. When someone comes up with a reliable crystal ball, please let me know. My old crystal ball is pretty badly shattered.

And that is just the financial outlook... I won't get into the political issues, as that is not allowed (and shouldn't be) on this forum.

That being said … let's all wish for a Happy New Year!

The one thing on top of all else was that my work became shaky. Let's say the richest man in the world finally trusted us, after years of hard work to gain that trust, and offered what we always wanted. And we found out we couldn't handle it.

Until now, I always thought, what a good problem to have. But I learned the hard way that is quite a mistaken point of view.

But as you say, Happy New Year! We do learn from what goes on. If we didn't, we'd be ready to throw in the towel...

Christmas Eve

Everyone have a very Merry Christmas
