Another week at an end

Looks like I need to visit more often. Lost my windmill. Should be good to go for the rest of the year now. Was very crazy around my house the past few months.

The cool/snowy weather reports here ...

... are hard for me to relate to. It's still around 90 degrees in places here in southern California, and supposed to be in the mid 90's later this week. I can't even remember the last time I wore a long sleeve shirt or a pair of pants. I'm ready for it to cool down a bit actually.

night time temps are dipping into the 40's now and day temps are getting cooler and I see fresh snow in the high country, time to clean up the garden put some tools away. and find the outside faucet covers and get rid of the hornets nest I just found in the grapes that thing is huge LOL

flooding

lots of flooded roads in north central Texas and southern Oklahoma as the area has gotten 6-16 inches of rain across this wide area including DFW. Folks need to be careful this morning.

We missed Florence, thank goodness, but a stalled cold front has brought us over 2 inches already today. Ugh!
