Are there new updater for Garmin software like POI loader that work with the new OS that requires 64 bit software? Nothing works on my MacBook Air with 10.13. I checked Google and did not find anything
If you are running Mac OS
If you are running Mac OS 10.7 or about, (Lion) your Mac is 64 bit. I have no problem running POI loader, Garmin Express, or BaseCamp.

Mac OS 64 bit
I am running OS 10.13.4 on a MacBook Pro (2013) and have no issues with the available Garmin software (Garmin Express, POI Loader and BaseCamp. I know when Apple went to the 64 bit version of iOS, 32 bit apps would no longer run correctly or at all on the iPhone/iPad, but that shouldn't be true on the laptops and desktops.

Any OS version later than
Any OS version later than 10.7 Lion won't run 32 bit apps.
From Terminal, getconf LONG_BIT
Or this, echo "You are on a "$(getconf LONG_BIT)"-bit architecture"

All Good Here
I'm running MacOS 10.13.4 on a Late 2013 MBP 15" with no problems running any Garmin software.
