In danger of losing your windmill?
Maybe you can share the last place your GPS took you and if you encountered any problems, or if you used it to seek out special places to go (like Thai Food, ice cream shoppes, etc.).
Anything to keep your windmill alive.
This thread will be closed on the last day of the month and a new one will be opened.
Always to work....blah blah blah
With the Scout Troop
Through OK, KS, and IA ... Storms, Storms, Storms!
will take me the the Car Show in Kensington, MD on Sunday, May 6th between 10 AM & 4 PM. Lot's of old, but lovely, vehicles to see! I'll be going in my 2002 BMW Z3.
Boring events as usual.
...it ended yesterday ...in May.
Seven days of pushing reefer using my Garmin Dezl 770. Chicagoland to LA and back.
From Indio, CA Garmin routed me east on I-10 to Desert Center. Then North on Hwy 177 to 62 to 95 North. Garmin stated the speed limit on these Hwys as 65 mph. The max. truck speed limit in CA I believe is 55 mph.
I wonder if Garmin would have routed me on those 2 lane hwys if the correct speed limit was used....
Have a good weekend everyone
I turn on my 2595 every morning to go to work ... I thought it was silly after I had lived up here in RI for a couple of weeks and clearly knew my way to work ... but it saves me 20-30 minutes of traffic delays about once a month, so I keep it active.
Columbus Farmers Market in NJ
Trip to get canoe gunnels.
Happy Sunday. No trips planned this weekend.
Out and about
a quickie to the local hardware store for oil for my lawn mower.
Went and picked up my motorcycle from storage and took it out for a nice ride. Sadly the tail end of it was hit with some light rain but that just means it is pre-washed
we head out on motorcycles for a few days.
We will be staying on Route 66 so the wife wakes up on her 66th birthday on Route 66! Then we dine at the Grand Canyon Caverns Grotto...21 stories underground
First time visit to the Biltmore Estate.
Went to French Lick. Had a great time.
i love my windmill
We spent the weekend in Hilton Head Island with some old friends. Great fun!
Short ride and lunch
Trip to Wilmar eye institute johns Hopkins for DMEK surgery tomorrow 5/9/2018
all is well!
To my daughter's graduation yesterday.
Haven't been there in over a decade since i work in a field office.
Good thing was i had my garmin as cell phones go dark for a good chunk of the drive. Took the little one with me--she wasn't born when we moved to the field office--and she was surprised as to how little fast food there was out there.
Huge pile up on the way home from work and the Garmin got me off the freeway and onto rural roads that I never could have navigated alone ... I'll be slow to give this tech up!
Am home finally after breaking my hip while house sitting...
Nothing for quite a while, but now that nice weather (and expensive gas unfortunately) is here that will be subject to change.
Headed up for the weekend to Celebrate Mother's Day. Everything is turning golden brown already. Spring is done. Bring on summer.
Happy Sunday to all friends.
We have a Chrysler in dash unit but I am updating my trusty Garmin 255 nuvi. Use it when in territory where the maps have changed because the Chrysler one is just too expensive.
Craig's list shopping wouldn't be the same without the Garmin!
Mother's day trip to see the in-laws and drop off a plant at my parents house (they were away).
Busy day running errands then off to more places around Wisconsin this week.
It is an hour drive and I have multiple possible routes.
CT. The next one will be to OH, near Toledo. Don't know where it is actually, never been out that way.
Where I live it's heavily Irish, to include people from Ireland (apparent when speaking). We have 3 Catholic churches within a 1.3 mile radius, and I live in the suburbs, not the city.
When I was in Irving, TX, for work, I drove 7 miles to a Catholic church. It's so interesting how regional things are imho.
Good thing that daughter wanted to ride batman before goliath since the folks on goliath got stuck on the climb ramp.
Been going a lot since retiring
to the local hardware store and not very exciting. Needed an AC filter.
