Apple states the update is for the following devices:
iPhone 5s and later, iPad Air and later, and iPod touch 6th generation

I saw in the following article that with this update "Apple has also bundled in a number of other miscellaneous changes which look to improve the overall stability of the platform for all compatible device owners."

It's your call but I'll live dangerously & wait for their next release which should be at this rate within a week or so

Updated Iphone 6, then
Updated Wife's Iphone 6, then discovered it's primarily "X" related....
Oh well, at least updates are becoming less buggy than earlier in the V11 Saga........
A 2689LMT in both our cars that we love... and a Nuvi 660 with Lifetime Maps that we have had literally forever.... And a 2011 Ford Escape with Nav System that is totally ignored!

Minor Problem
Updated and backed up my iPhone 6s to 11.1.2, then when my X arrived on Tuesday, I attempted to transfer files to the X via iTunes Restore function. It wouldn't allow it. After some frustrated attempts and choice word selection, I saw that the X had 11.1.1 and needed the iOS updated to 11.1.2 before a Restore could be done. Finally got everything transferred. Nice phone, the X.
