BaseCamp Error Message when connecting a GPS

Since I updated to Mac OS 10.13 High Sierra, BaseCamp has been giving an error message when my GPS is mounting. Something like "There was an error communicating with the device."

Anybody else getting this?

Any advice?

No apparent other problems, just the message. The GPS mounts and can be managed from the computer as always.

Yup

BC V4.6.3 is the latest and has been for a looooong time.

This started with High Sierra.
