Having just driven over 2,000 miles through the USA my 2797 gave me school-zone warnings several times. Where I live in Canada there are NO school-zone warnings ever !

Garmin is slowly... real slowly.. adding them. I noticed with the last map update there is are some announcements South of the Anthony Henday in the Ellerslie area.
The database for the things like school zones is a major project though as they keep changing. In Edmonton for example they had no school zone restrictions.. but then.. the city realized there was a pot full of money to be had from speed cameras. so we got school zones for elementary schools.. Now.. realizing just how lucrative this is they are now wanting to increase the coverage to junior high schools..
