NAV on my 2016 JEEP Grand Cherokee, WANT TO ADD POIs if possible

Hi, was wondering if anyone here knows if it's possible to add POIs to my JEEP. If so, can you let me know how to do it. Thanks.

Good luck with that

Over the years the exact same question has been asked several times, but I don't ever recall there being a good answer. I don't understand the manufacturers of built-in GPS's not adding a USB port and having their units "look like" any of the portable units that allow custom POI's.

What is the Nav system name,

What is the Nav system name, for instance in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler I have the Garmin based 430N system and there is a way to add POI's to it, although it's not as easy as a regular Garmin.

If it's a 430N read this thread:

NAV system name,

Thanks for the response. Haven't figured out how to find the name. I know I have Uconnect 8.4 NAV/RA4. Not sure where to look to see if I have 430N.

Thanks, I figured that out after I posted. Now if I could get the Yellowstone POI installed then I would be set. Thanks again for the help.

Did you try the links I posted just above your last reply? There's some info there, you'll have to weed through and see if any of it helps.

Thats's what I hate about indash systems..

They don't want you to be able to add or change anything. They want you on the hook to the dealer or car manufacture for any updates or additions

Absolutely, They want you to come back in so they can up-sell you other items.
