To keep me entertained through Alligator Alley I counted roadside memorials of people who lost their lives in accidents on the west bound side, to my amazement there are 30, next time down I'll count the eastbound side. I personally know of one, the sister of a friend who lost her live in that infamous road.

Starting to see oilfield traffic picking up on I-10 between Houston and San Antonio. The service trucks were absent for a while but they look to be coming back.

I've been using the zumo 665 exclusively for quite some time and decided to fire up the nuvi 1450 to use for my travels at work for a while. I had to laugh after searching all the latest POIs used. They were all from 1.5 years ago when I went from NW PA to Minneapolis to bring my pregnant daughter home for a quick visit and baby shower and return her home. All the recents were every other rest stop there was between our homes for another pee break LOL. The trip took forever!

Oh my.. Nope.. I'm not crying.. My eyeballs are defrosting.. -30 windchill tonight.. Ya.. *sigh*...

Minnesota...it's a long way from Florida ... and in the wrong direction for this time of year!

Saturday was not a long trip but a big day - my son's first little kickers (soccer) session. He was pretty timid but did have fun at the end.

again today. More on the way!

Started the week with a getaway trip to Chicago. Then my wife got a skin infection and it's been back and forth visits to the local hospital since. At least GPS did it's job for Chicago.

Wife and I took a 6,359 mile roadtrip in August and September to see some of the National Parks we have always wanted to see. Saw Yosemite, Crater Lake, Glacier, Yellowstone, Arches, and everything in between. Garmin GPS was invaluable although a little inaccurate especially in Utah directing us way off track to get to a hotel. Oh well .... good conversation item.

Can't go anywhere....
