Considerations

Perhaps it would help those newer to POI Factory if some of our members commented here about what factors they take into consideration when voting for a Contributor of the Year.

I know Charlesd45 made a great post about it last year, as did Mgarledge.
People have mentioned considering general helpfulness, depth of knowledge or number of POI files updated in the last three months as well as an overall friendliness.

What factors do you consder when voting for COY?

COW for the year.

One addition to my post last year is that we have members that work behind the scenes with other members to help improve a FAQ,add additional information, updates to a members POI and etc.Things most members don't see.

Post last year.

Sure would like to see more members on the list for the COY of the year. There are many more of our members who not only participate in the forums but also put a lot of time into creating custom poi files and keeping them updated and available to the membership.Along with creating FAQ's and a few that even create programs for us to use on the site. Things that usually don't get the recognition they should.Lots of examples out there that result in benefits to us the membership.
