I don't think this is a good idea ..... nothing gets stuck to my car. Even the dealer sticker/logo has been removed!

Why advertise you might have things like GPS's in your car to be taken by some unsavory thug?

If a sticker was available, I would purchase a couple of them and proudly display them on my vehicles to advertise POI Factory. Obviously, those members that don't like things stuck on their vehicles wouldn't get them ... that's OK too.

@Barney ... I think if someone wants to break into my car, they will do so whether or not I have a POI Factory sticker on it.

I am all for it as long as the design is unique.

I prefer window, also it would depend on design and size.

I agree, window maybe but nothing, repeat nothing, is getting stuck on my bumper or anywhere else that is painted on my shiny new vehicle.

I think I would prefer a window sticker. Should be easy to remove if needed.

I'd prefer a window CLING, not sticker, and it would be for placing inside the window not on the outside where the elements/car wash would take it's toll and a cling so if it fades it can be easily replaced with no glue to remove.

...when I was actively Geocaching I made a design for Geocaching that I would leave on the dashboard of my car with the lat/long of the destination listed. That way if I got 'lost', somebody could try to look in the right direction for me.
I know there are lots of ways to improve on this, but it was like filing a 'flight itinerary' in case....

To me, bumper stickers are temporary for the likes of election promotion or silly jokes.

IMO, POI Factory is neither temporary nor a Joke.

'Magnetic' or old fashioned stickum is cool with me. On the inside is the way to go.

As well as many others I would not put a sticker on my car.
Having said that I am a member of an online car club and they sell plastic licence (Marker) plate frames. I have one.

Maybe that would be a better alternative to use?

Not fond of car stickers, would do license plate like was suggested, even license plate frame.

Even requested the new car sales not to put their logo on it when we bought our new car. They gave us a license plate holder with their logo instead which we changed to a chrome one that said Accord on it.

That being said I would love a magnetic one. When we go to car shows we can put it on our show car but take it off when driving and when garaged.

I bought a magnetic sign from Shutterfly that said "Enjoy but please don't touch" Can use it only at car shows and take it off when driving and in garage.

I'm for that--a small window sticker, not a bumper one. Those who don't like it, that's okay. Only those who wants it. But what kind of design and how much?

I have to agree with BarneyBadass that I don't want to advertise the location of an expensive item....

However, under different circumstances that probably will never occur again, the idea of a sticker to promote POIFACTORY is a good idea!

I would also prefer a license plate frame over bumper / window stickers but they are illegal in some states if they obscure ANY part of the plate. We might run afoul of some state laws if we go this route.

I think to make it easier that we have both options available. This may be a way for the POI Factory to help offset some of their costs to maintaining such a wonderful site. I think both the window cling and license plate frame are excellent ideas. I also like the magnet idea since then I can put it on my fridge in the garage...

I started a little over a week ago this thread & wanted to know the interest level other members had concerning creating a POI Factory Window / Bumper Sticker.

There were a little over a dozen responses including just one from a former COY. Considering the lack of interest, I now know it’s not worth the time nor effort in pursuing this project.
