Yes, Garmin Express works with Windows 10

Eight years!

Wow, so much fun!

What's changed over that period, I mean in the GPS devices we have in our cars...

Screens are larger and higher resolution (and my eyes, at least, need those larger screens. Resolution has a long ways to go to catch up with modern smartphones, but there's no real reason/demand for that).

The GPS birds are still flying. The last of the early block II birds were retired last month, after exceeding their nominal life expectancy by more than a decade.

We have new birds that support more civilian frequencies, so the next few years could see a new generation of more accurate receivers. (Of course the added frequencies means increased current consumption, so don't expect battery life to increase greatly, without a change in battery technology).

And that's an interesting undercurrent in all this -- the progression of Moore's law and how it's changed the GPS racket. We have bigger, more detailed maps (thanks to far denser memories), and our gadgets handle those maps and map animations a lot quicker (thanks to much faster processors), and battery life has increased a bit overall (more faster memory and faster processors but both of those use less power).

One of the things that hasn't changed is the loose nut behind the wheel.

Common sense ain't.

Brrrrrr ---- it's cold!

It's cold and windy here in east central Iowa with hard freeze warnings tonight; lows in the low 20's or possibly even the teens. We were teased with a couple of nice spring days in the 60's and 70's a couple of weeks ago, but this week has been kind of ugly weather wise sad
