First impressions,of,the nuvicam

Just picked up a Nuvicam to possibly replace my 2797. Had already ordered a KD LINKS X11 dash cam but returned it In favor of having a single corded unit on my windshield. In general, it is an improved GPS over the 2797, size comparison not withstanding. Some immediate first use impressions:

Pros: faster satellite acquisition; quicker and much more dependable BT handshake with my iPhone 5S; camera functions fine with good functionality and resolution; outstanding magnetic powered windshield mount; HD traffic works fine here in NYC/Long Island area; general GPS Nav functions quicker; some interesting new 'cute' functionality such as real vision which switches to camera mode when arriving at destination.

A few minor cons: a bit pricey at 350$ but I ordered mine from GPS city without shipping and no tax (as I did for my 2797); garmin should have included a protective case for that price; on line Manual could be organized better; unit's battery doesn't last long when not connected to car lighter and garmin discourages use of 'standard' 5v 2amp power supply (used for ipad but with micro usb plug).

At this time I plan to keep the Nuvicam and put the 2797 in reserve.
