Why is my volume level low?

If you are having trouble hearing the sound coming from your on the road device, first make sure that the volume or master volume is set to an audible level.

1. Touch the Volume icon on the Where To? View Map screen and confirm that the volume is set to the desired level and it is not muted
2. If the master volume is turned up and the volume is still low, then check the volume levels within the "audio mixer".

To view the device's audio mixer volume, follow the steps below for your specific model:

Camper/RV series, dezl 570, 760, 770, dezlCam, nuvi 2405, 2407, 2408, 2505, 2507, 2508, 2509, 2609, 2707, 2708, 2709, 3400, 3500, 3507, 3508 series, nuviCam devices:
1. Touch the Volume icon on the Where To? View Map screen
2. Touch the Wrench icon or slider icon
3. Touch the Audio Mixer (see note 1)
      Skip this step on some devices
4. Confirm the desired volume for Navigation, Media, and/or Bluetooth

dezl 560, LIVE 1695 and 2300 series, nuvi 2300, 2400, and 3700 series devices:
1. Touch the Volume icon on the Where To? View Map screen
2. Touch the Wrench icon, slider icon, or menu button (three horizontal lines) (See Note 2)
3. Confirm the desired volume for Navigation, media, and/or Phone

nuvi 295W:
1. Touch the Settings button on the Where To? View Map screen
2. Touch Audio
3. Touch Mixer
4. Touch the desired volume option
5. Confirm the desired volume level
6. Touch OK

nuvi 705, 800, 805, and 5000 series devices:
1. Touch the Volume icon on the Where To? View Map screen
2. Touch Mixer
3. Confirm the desired volume for Navigation, media, and/or Phone

zumo 220, 350, 390, 590, 660, and 665 series devices:
1. Touch Volume
1. Confirm volume level for master volume
2. Select Mixer (see note 3)
Some devices require you to touch the wrench icon to get to the audio mixer selections
3. Confirm the desired volume for Navigation and/or Media

nuvi 600 series, zumo 450, and 550 series devices:
1. Touch Tools (wrench icon)
2. Touch Volume
3. Touch the speaker to the left or right to lower or raise the volume to the desired level for Navigation and/or Media

Note 1: Audio Mixer is only available on Bluetooth compatible devices after the phone has been paired to the device.

Note 2: This icon will on be available after a phone has been paired to the device.

Note 3: The zumo 220, zumo 350, and zumo 390 will not have a mixer, only master volume.
