Rain...

We finally had some rain in Sacramento. It wasn't a lot but it was water coming out of the sky and dampening the ground. The big deal is that it dropped snow in the Sierras where we can get at it through melting next year. That's Great!!! Thank you, God.

Some rain--

I don't know how much we had, because the rain gauge needs some maintenance.

One thing I do know, there's nothing as loving as a wet dog. Nothing that smells the same, either. And our six month old Springer puppy thinks rain is a Good Thing -- to bark at, to run around in, to snap at, and afterwards to share with the rest of the pack (like me).

... is a good rain - at this point. Just don't want "too much" all at one time (like the stuff that caused the mud slides last month on Hwy 5).

yesterday

woke up to see my truck was covered with frost. the grass was white the roof on the shed was white brrr was 32 deg . time to put up the planter boxes move plants into the green house and put my garden toys away after I till the soil and let it rest until spring then till it again !

Warm weather

Been riding the bike to work this week. Not impossible, but rather unusual without serious cold weather gear here in NH. 70 degrees in the afternoon going home, makes up for 35 riding in.

HOT!

Record high temps for Tampa 2 days in a row. Tuesday set an all time high for any day in November previously recorded - 92 degrees.

We are poised to set another record today. [tongue hanging out]
