JVC image not going away.

I am sure that I saw one or more posts on this subject a while ago but cannot find them now, so here is a report of such an event I saw last evening.
Driving South on US-1 from Raleigh (NC) turning right onto US-64 the Junction View for that exit stayed till I got to the next exit (US-15/501 N) some 20 or so miles away.

Email Garmin

Email this to Garmin. They might want to know this.

Try This:

I believe this is the post you are looking for:

From my experience, you have to cancel the navigation on the current route to clear the "stuck" JVC screen. You can then begin navigating to your original destination again. You can also wait until the next JVC screen pops up and it should then clear itself.

As the above link shows, at this point there is no answer as to why this happens. It appears to be a random occurrence.

I have just done a simulation of last evenings trip (twice). The Junction View anomaly does not occur. I have reported it to Garmin but I do not think they will drive out to North Carolina to check it out.

...

Isn't there a back button?

If it doesn't reoccur when doing a simulation then the bug/glitch might not be map related rolleyes

On a side note, the only users that have reported this sort of behaviour are 3597 owners. It'll be interesting to see if others who use a different series encounter the same down the road.

I imagine everyone knows you can touch the JV part of the screen anytime it is appearing and it will go away. I don't know if this will work when your problem occurs but if you haven't tried it then try it. All models may not behave the same though.
