Double poi rest stops

On my new 3597, I added the poi rest stops and saw double entries under CATEGORIES . Removed the poi but still have the double entries.

Did you add to device?
If you loaded onto SD card, the GPS will ask, if you want to load onto, the device.
Have you said Yes to this and have it loaded on the SD and the GPS?

The rest area POI file name changes slightly with each update so if you do not remove the prior version from the POI directory you use to store the files in before running poi loader they will appear more than once.

...do a "Save As". This eliminates the problem.

Check the directory on your computer
The current Rest Area file name is RestAreasCombined(Ver.BO).
The previous was RestAreasCombined(Ver.BN). You probably have 2 different versions of the Rest Area file in the same directory on your computer.
