Info on a dezl 560 wanted

I am considering upgrading to a dezl 560. I have some questions for someone who has one.

Could be of Some Help

I owned a Dezl 760 for a year before trading it for an RV 760. The Dezl 760 is very similar to the Dezl 560 as this Garmin comparison shows:

The Dezl 760 was a great unit but I found the RV 760 was more specific to my truck and trailer rig. In any case, I may be able to help with questions.

questions

Under the setup there is an option for more data on the screen. Where does this show up?

Does the speed limit allow edits and additions like it does on many other new units? The newest one I have is a 2300 and it has this feature.

Dezl 760 superior

Definitely invest in the Dezl 760. I've had one and it's far superior. The larger screen is definitely worth it especially when on the road a lot in a truck.

This May be of Some Help

You may already have this but the manual for the Dezl 560 is available here:

http://static.garmincdn.com/pumac/dezl_560_OM.pdf

Page 58 and 59 explain how to customize the main menu. Up to 15 user selectable icons (not data fields) can be displayed.

Page 23 explains the options available on the map page. 8 is a user selectable field. 9 brings up the trip information page with 9 data fields which are not user selectable.

Page 61 explains how to change the map data layout. On the Dezl 760, there are 3 user selectable fields which display vertically on the right side of the screen. These can be icons or data fields. I’m not sure if it is the same with the 560 or not since the manual isn’t clear on this.

Unfortunately, the newer Garmin units don’t have as many user selectable data fields as some earlier models.

I hope this helps.
