If McDonalds states they have truck/RV parking on their web site, then Mahoney would probably have put it in the file.

Try This Site

Although there are many POI Factory files that contain invaluable information for RV's and truckers, there is no single file that I know of that provides this information quickly and easily without a lot of searching.

I use the M C Enterprises Travelers and RV Directory website on my smartphone when on the road with my trailer. The information provided is far from complete but I'm usually able to find what I need.

Although you can't search for McDonald's specifically, you can easily search for all restaurants in your state and on the highway you are travelling. Truck and RV friendly McDonald's will show up in the search results if there are any.

McDonalds Parking

I know Mahoney keeps the McDonalds file up to date and he has a subset of those with Play Places. Maybe if he or someone else wants to make a subset of the base file and publish it separately as he did with the Play Places, many of us might find it useful. It would probably take input from our peers to identify which ones have truck/rv parking. I know the one in Raton NM does as well as those that are in the service areas of the turnpike along I-44 in Oklahoma.

The website bdhsfz6 provided here looks like a good resource. There is a link at the bottom of the main page for fast food with rv parking and it takes you to a list of states and then within are by brands. McDonalds are listed and clicking one brings up it's location on a map. It would be a project that would entail comparing the existing POI file to the ones on the website state by state and flagging each that has parking to create this subset.
