Where can I find my current elevation on Garmin Device?
Note that elevation on automotive devices is based solely on map data and may not be 100% accurate, depending on satellite signal strength and available map data.
On most Garmin devices:
(assuming the device has acquired satellite signal)
Touch View Map
Touch the vehicle icon/position indicator
The elevation of that location will be displayed along with the geographical coordinates.
On the nuvi 300 and 600 series:
(assuming the device has acquired satellite signal and the device's antenna flap is raised
Touch the satellite signal strength bars in the top-left corner of the screen
The elevation of the "current" location will be displayed along with the geographical coordinates.
