It depends on the model you’re after. For example, Amazon’s price on the 2797 is $230 and Factory Outlet’s is $220. Their price on the 2597 is also $10 less than Amazon. Both retailers offer free shipping.

Not all Nuvi prices are less but it might pay to check before you buy.

May need to watch these guys. They list 7 models as being in the Nuvi "Prestige" line. The only model Garmin lists in the Prestige line is the 3597. These folks list the 3597 twice, with 2 different prices, in that category.

I did see that they did respond to the negative reviews from people which is a good sign that they do care what people think.

"I tried talking to FactoryOutletStore, I was told a manager would return my call by the next day, never happened. I have emailed them today stating the following and a copy of the email will be attached to the second returned item that I plan to ship back within the next few days.

An item was shipped to me in error. I previously returned a defective phone system for a refund but was issued an exchange instead. My "Return" paperwork, included with the returned defective item, was marked for a Refund and signed by me, not an Exchange.

I am asking them to not charge me the 15% processing fee as this second shipment was not my error, Factory Outlet Store sent it to me in error. i looked at the nuvi 2797 LMT , and they were $10 cheaper than Amazon , but it was a refurbished.
the new nuvi 2797 LMT at Amazon cost me $229.99 & free shipping, and factoryoutletstore.com new price is $239.95 & free shipping

Yeah, and the more expensive 3597 ($349.99) is a refurbished model whereas the cheaper 3597 ($329.99) is Brand New.

Thanks for the info. Like always you need to check several sources to make sure that you are getting a good price.

Always best to check prices with the places you deal with and trust, even ask if they can match or come close to the "other" price.
