Weather

Peaked at 92 degrees here in my area of San Diego today. Nice! It's often warm around Thanksgiving but his is up a few degrees from normal. Might be a beach day on Friday!

Thanksgiving, SimCity & Kids

Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays. For me, it's a nice slow time to set aside the normal routines and enjoy time with family.

This year, I dusted off an old copy of SimCity 3000 to share with my middle-school aged daughters. We spent several hours together after dinner setting up roads, power plants, and watching to see what the little Sim residents would do with the areas we zoned for development.

As I expected, both girls caught the urban planning bug and were up early the next morning to continue crafting their cities.

It was a good Thanksgiving. grin
