Help bricked Nuvi 255W

Hello everyone, I have a problem and hopefully you guys can help. I was updating my nuvi 255w with the Garmin Express program and now when I turn it on, it goes to Loading Maps... and turns off. When I connect it to my windows based laptop, the device does not show up under my computer. The screen of the Nuvi is the one with the computer tower and where there is a loading bar that goes green, however the loading bar does not load. Attempts at a hard reset have failed. Every time I click the yes button, the device turns off. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

All fixed

I called Garmin and they could not help me at all. However they did give me the gcd file after basically asking a million times. With it, I followed a tutorial and got it fixed.

Glad to hear you got it fixed.
Should you need firmware files for the Nuvi (old & new) you can get them at the link below so you won't have to beg Garmin for the file.
