An auto tour route covering a portion of the areas in which John S. Mosby operated during the Civil War. Mosby and his Rangers initiated the concept of "Special Warfare" in that his Rangers, operating independently from the primary Confederate forces, tied up numerous units and resources of the Northern armies searching for, but never capturing the "Grey Ghost."
