That is a .bmp file that can be used for a POI file icon, but if the OP wants a truck icon to be used as the "vehicle" icon that will not work for him. You need to create a vehicle image in a .srf file format for that.

If it is a POI icon that is needed, then to answer the OP's question, yes he can make it larger using pretty much any graphic software program.

I have a problem with http://www.vehiclesforgarminnuvi.com/ . I've attempted to open that site using 3 different browsers and can't access it on any of them. Blank screens using Chrome and Firefox and a "website can not be found - Error 400, using IE.

The site loads well for me right now with both IE11 and Chrome. It starts with a 0-100% loading, then a button to click to Agree to terms.

I don't know if it's an issue with security settings on your browsers, router, virus scanner, or firewall or if it could be a temporary issue with your ISP. Have you ever tried going to the site before?

I thought the OP was asking for a .bmp file especially since he said "Is the custom Icon size still 24x24

Site opens in IE, Chrome and Firefox - downloaded choices from each.

Yet, CraigW orginal response would indicate he thought it was a vehicle icon the OP was looking for. As the 3rd person in, I just couldn't tell which was needed so tried to respond to either case.

I admit I wasn't sure. Asking about custom icons and pixel size is regularly a Custom POI icon question. But a user named Stormtrucker asking about truck icons lead me to think the question was about Garmin vehicles so I answered that way in case that was the question.

If the question was indeed about custom POI icons, I didn't want to offer an answer since I've never used any icons except the ones available on this site and I've never tinkered with size, colors, etc. although I've seen the discussions of altering icon sizes or color depth, etc. for use with some GPS models.

As we wait for stormtrucker to let us know what's really wanted, we can work on t92's site access issue . I doubt that it's a cookie or browser cache issue given the number of browsers tried, so my money is on his DNS cache, his ISP or some other pathway to the website issue. (Maybe Canada has banned the site's access to its citizens.)

Can't think of any reason why it would be a Canada issue.

Anyway, I cleared the DNS cache on my computer and it made no difference (Error 400 in IE and blank screens in Chrome and Firefox).

I really haven't been going to this site much in the last year but I know I could get there in April as I bought a new vehicle and went there to get a vehicle icon to match my new purchase. I think I had trouble getting there then using my default browser, Firefox, but got there using IE so I just assumed it was a Firefox issue and moved on. Seems to be deeper than that now.

I know the site still exists because I can access it using the Chrome broswer on my Galaxy 4S smartphone.

Since April, have you installed any new security software? (I note that this should have no bearing on an Error 400)

I can get it as well. I'm using FF 32.0.2
