Has anyone tried iOS 8 with Honda Bluetooth & Navigation in a 2014 Honda? Honda seems to lag with the updates. On the www.handsfreelink.com site they don't even mention iOS 7 and are years behind in updating that info.
IOS 8
IOS 8 only came out on September 17th !!!!!!!!!

Not sure if this is your issue, but it's all over the web today advising folks NOT to enable the new iCloud Drive feature during the installation process of iOS 8. It is not compatible (yet) with other Apple devices that aren't also running iOS 8. Causing lots of issues. Advice is to hold off for now. Google for details and news videos explaining what's going on.

I have a 2014 Accord EX-L and updated my iphone 5s Thursday. Since then, I've had no bluetooth connectivity for phone calls.
I can still listen to my ipod while charging (not using the usb port).
Can't believe Honda dropped the ball on this.
My sister-in-law said they were hoping to have this fixed by March of this year.
Honda/Acura and MB are some of the makers who have had issues.
My dad's 4-year-old Cadillac will be compatible, but not my new Honda.
now, is it the automaker

that gets the black mark for not anticipating Apple would change their software or s it Apple for not insuring their new software would work with older versions of Bluetooth?

Bug
There is a bug in the 8.0.1 update. Google for Restore 8.0. Apple says you can restore your phone to 8.0 with iTunes.

There is a bug in the 8.0.1 update and Apple has removed the update pending repair. In the meantime, you can restore your phone back to 8.0 using iTunes. Visit Apple Support or Google for Restore 8.0.

iOS 8.01 Bug has nothing to do w/ Honda Bluetooth compatibility

I don't believe the bug has anything to do with Bluetooth compatibility. The problem appears to be Honda not providing a mechanism to update their firmware and not Apple. Things keep moving forward and Honda doesn't seem to have a way to be able to update the built in computer software for the in-car technology. Hence the reason the text messaging feature STILL doesn't work in my Odyssey and I have yet to hear of anyone with an iPhone that has that work. As for the fact that it is just out, true but at the same time, software vendors such as Apple, Microsoft, and others release beta versions of their software for testing so that technology hardware manufacturers can work with them. Compared with computers, Dell has to make sure their new laptops support Windows 8.1 and eventually 9, etc. Honda needs to step it up with their technology and stop lagging behind in my opinion. Others come up with iOS app updates immediately because they have put the R&D into testing and immediately release updates for the new iOS. Why can't Honda get with the program? Instead, their website still says it's only compatible with iOS 6.x which was released a few years ago! Infuriating and ridiculous.
Forget and Reset
A lot of Bluetooth issues can be fixed by:
1) Select Settings>Bluetooth>Name of Device Info button. Select Forget This Device.
2) On the Bluetooth radio find out how to Reset the Bluetooth. Many radios limit the number of connections they will make. Reset the car's Bluetooth and then
3) Re-pair the phone and car Bluetooth. Make the car discoverable then open the Bluetooth setting on the phone. The car's BT should appear, then select Connect.
I have seen this issue on forums for several makes of cars and I had it with a Bluetooth add-on device in my car. Following the steps above is the answer for many BT connection issues.
