Hmmm, think I'll wait to hear if others report success or difficulty installing this update.

Started BaseCamp and it started to download the update with only a quick flash of a screen that could not be read. After the download completed there was no indication that the update was ready to be installed unless you went into help where there was an option to install the update. It installed without any problems, and seems to be working properly. Windows 7 Pro

Over the years I've learned the hard way that it's not always a good thing to be on the bleeding edge of technology.

When ever I open BaseCamp and I am told there is an update I always let it update. So far that has worked just fine.

on desk top and old laptop.

Automatic update went without problems. Windows Vista Home Premium 64-bit.

No problem here, Win 8.1.

My new laptop (Lenovo Win 8.1) always had a problem with Basecamp not filling the screen when it started up, had to do a size change to get full screen. The latest release has fixed that problem. thank you Garmin!

I have only just started using Basecamp....though I seem to prefer MapSource for distributing topo maps to my new Oregon 600...I can see some nice features that MapSource lacks.

I posted this on the Garmin BaseCamp Development forum...no response yet... but:

SELECT ALL feature, while all the waypoints where highlighted using Select All, then right click to CREATE ROUTE USING SELECTED WAYPOINTS, the route was created all but the last waypoint. However, when I used the click and shift to highlight all the waypoints and then right click to CREATE ROUTE USING SELECTED WAYPOINTS, the route is correct using all the waypoints.

Also: I wanted to change the Symbol Icon on the selected waypoints to the same symbol... again SELECT ALL , OPEN the properties window, chose the icon and all where changed except the last one. Again I used the Click first one and shift click on last one ... all are highlighted...OPEN the properties window and changed the symbol icon... All where changed.

Tried several times... renamed the waypoint by adding a number 01, 02, 03, and sorted as well.... same results... all but the last one.

Therefore SELECT ALL, gives false showing all are selected...except one..
